For Black History Month, celebration coming up soon, we have an opportunity happening on February 5th between 9 am and 12pm:
- 30 of our students to receive hair cuts
- 10 of our students to receive hair braiding

The Newsletter will come out later today. Tomorrow is our first day of Spirit Week, which will be Flannel Day! For students and staff who are unable to participate, please feel free to dress down.
Every year, during this season of “giving”, we engage our corporate partners and the SLLIS community to support our SLLIS “Shining Star” students. This year, we are focusing on funding for: the first year of the SLLIS-run Pre-K; the new Bridge to French program; continually building the Middle School Athletics program; and the ongoing specialized recruitment of Global Staff. We have a lot of exciting initiatives for
which we need extra support!
