At SLLIS, we provide a transformative international education, unique to our community, that is focused on reflective, data-driven learning and academic achievement.

Our Dual Language Immersion Model and curriculum provide us with a framework for instruction in English and the Target Languages. SLLIS administrators and teachers work in teams to identify the curriculum materials - including textbooks, workbooks, library books, and online platforms - that will best support our learners to master each learning objective throughout the year.

SLLIS has developed its own curriculum aligned to the Missouri Learning Standards and designed to support students to mastery at every grade level. These SLLIS-designed documents establish our approach in each instructional content area.
