Reminders for dismissal:
The car pick-up line forms at 18th and Pine. Please adhere to traffic laws for the stop sign at 18th and Pine to get into line. A security office will be assisting with this process.
Pick-up line turns right on 19th and remains single-file. Please do not change order at any time.
Groups of students will be loaded into cars, and groups of cars will be dismissed at once from 19th St. All cars MUST turn right on Olive; there is no left turn onto Olive due to no visibility with construction.
Hello, SLLIS! We have a few important safety updates for dismissal today. If you pick up in the car, stay in your vehicle and allow the officer at 18th and Pine to direct you into the designated pick-up line, where a staff member will take your name. If you do walk-up, please park at any meter in the area that is NOT located on SLLIS’ block of Pine Street, then proceed to the playground gate to enter your name. By now you should have received the summer mailer for the upcoming school year and be preparing to return to SLLIS! If you did not receive the summer mailer, please email kara.mank@sllis.org with your current mailing address so we can update our records. We hope you will join us for the Back-to-School block party this Thursday, August 11 at SLLIS! We are thrilled to welcome families back onto the SLLIS campus, and the staff is eager to meet their classes! You may also turn in your necessary documents at the Block Party or send your child with them on the first day of school. These can be found in the Summer Mailer.

This Saturday, August 6 from 12 to 4 pm at the Bayer YMCA, SLLIS will be at the Charter School Enrollment Fair hosted by Activate STL and Missouri Charter Public School Association! There will be food trucks, fun activities, gift card, iPad raffles and school supplies giveaways for the first 100 families in attendance. Bring your family and friends to join us and enroll your students at SLLIS!

SLLIS TCP teacher Fan Yan joined over 60 other area educators who went to the Wash U campus over two days to learn more about mySci, an innovative curriculum and resource that provides high-quality, hands-on science learning opportunities for K-8 students. mySci is developed and administered by the Institute for School Partnership at Washington University in St. Louis (ISP). Grove Farmers Market!
The SLLIS PTO will be hosting a meet and greet on Saturday, May 21st from 10am-noon at the Tower Grove Farmers Market.
We will meet at the SLLIS informational booth which will be just to the north of the playground near the tennis courts.
Come meet other SLLIS families, socialize outside, enjoy the farmers market, and look forward to the start of summer break!
