Marine Campus update: It has come to our attention that there was an explosion incident in the vicinity of the Marine Campus. SLLIS has a strong relationship with the local police station and was not notified of any safety threat related to this incident. The school day has continued as scheduled, and all staff and students are safe. We have contacted local police to request more information and will provide updates as necessary.

5th and 6th graders visited Lindenwood University. They had a great welcoming followed by a campus tour. They even got to eat in their cafeteria together with other college students. This was a great experience! #SLLIS #LU #LikeNoOther

Today the Marine Campus fire alarm sounded at 11:30 am. All staff and students evacuated the building promptly. The STL Fire Dept responded and confirmed there was no fire or smoke. All students are back in class.

The St. Louis Language Immersion School will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, November 15, due to inclement weather. Staff and students should not report to school. Stay safe!
