Today, Marine campus wrapped up the school year with some water fun activities!!!
We love our students and will miss them. But in the mean time, dear parents, you’re it!!!

Middle school students are busy learning and having fun; using precise communication skills, mathematical computation, and scientific knowledge of NaCl's effect on freezing temperature, to make ice cream. Concise directions and calculations result in one "sweet" experiment.

5th graders at the Civil War Museum in STL.

TSP fourth grade is doing math with fidget spinners today!

Full day at Marine! Planting (they’ll take home), a small exhibition from 5th graders, and Chinese lunch for staff!

4th grade at the Spanish program grew Basil, looked up for recipes and now they are taking it home.

Hot summer days, avoid sugary drinks.
In health class, middle schoolers conducted different experiments to close up the school year. They mostly enjoyed the one about the level of pH on water. They were thrilled our school water is alkaline with a pH balance of 7.5 or higher!!!

Lots of helping hands to take down the word walls.

8th graders are ready to graduate tomorrow! Practicing today and the start of a tradition: walking around Marine to be congratulated by all the younger ones!

4th grade at TSP is making posters about nutrition facts.

4th grade at the Spanish Program is visiting Bussen Quarries.

Fourth grade is touring Bussen Quarry today!

Yesterday we excavated chocolate chips from cookies to see how different methods of mining affect the environment! This was in preparation for our tour of Bussen quarry today.

Field trip to the movies and the park! No better way to celebrate the end of a great 5th and 6th grade year at the Spanish Program! 🎉 #SLLIS #adogsjourney #Choteaupark #endofyear #TSP

Last week's 10-Year Anniversary Gala was a great success, and one lucky winner is going to Paris! Thank you to all who helped put together this wonderful event.

Practicing how to read nutrition facts from food.

During earth day week, kindergartens learned and applied different games in gym to demonstrate understanding of support for environmental protection. We close up the unit by having them engaged in a Recycling Relay Race (RRR) at our school playground.

SLLIS board and administration scheduled a massage session for staff for teacher appreciation week! Thank you!

6th Grade students study Geometry. They examine how two-dimensional flat surfaces, called nets, fold into three-dimensional figures. This activity reinforces understanding that each fold has a separate surface area; and summation reveals the total surface area of the 3-D figure.
