To the Go! Read, Right & Run family participants: I wanted to reach out regarding students packets (bibs & T-shirts). We are holding them until school resumes to show respect to everyone’s health and safety. Further updates will be provided and options to obtain medals. Best!

On Saturday, Mayor Lyda Krewson announced a mandatory 30 day “Stay at Home” order aimed at preventing further spread of the COVID-19 virus. In light of this new restriction, all schools in the City of St. Louis have decided to extend their closures through April 22. This decision will be continually re-evaluated in coordination with the Mayor’s Office and the City’s Department of Health. The St. Louis Language Immersion School will launch Remote Learning on Monday, March 30, 2020. Please see our website Live Feed and Facebook page for schedules and more details about distance learning.

Hello, SLLIS! We know many of you are anxious or need more information about remote learning. We are working diligently to identify and develop a plan to get devices to every student who still needs one and will be in contact as this is accomplished. Please email baldomero.alvarez@sllis.org if you still need a device and you have not already reached out to your teacher or an administrator! We thank you very much for your patience and flexibility as we prepare to begin remote instruction on March 30! Feel free to email me at kara.mank@sllis.org with any other questions or concerns.
