Here is the agenda for the Board of Directors meeting tomorrow, July 15 at 6:00 PM! SLLIS plans to open both in-school and virtual learning to launch 2020-2021, and the Board will discuss the SLLIS Draft Reopening Plan during tomorrow's meeting. We hope you can join us via Facebook Live! Shortly after the meeting, we will make the draft plan available to the public. To get students back into the routine of learning as soon as possible, the first day of school (as approved by the Board of Directors in May) will be August 10 for Kindergarten and August 11 for all other grades! In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Missouri is offering reimbursements to qualifying families whose children were no longer able to get food from school:
The Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) is for families with K-12 children who receive free or reduced-price meals at school, providing up to $302 per eligible child. As of right now, only about 60% of eligible families have taken advantage of this program.
Families receiving SNAP benefits will receive the funds automatically, but other parents must submit a quick application at EmergencyMealSurvey.com/MO before July 7. For additional information, please see the attached flyer or contact Operation Food Search.
